Why is BMO so strongly invested in learning?
Quite simply, learning matters. We care about developing our employees for two key reasons:
- we owe it to our customers to continually build new capabilities to meet their evolving needs
- our employees have told us how important it is, for BMO to help them learn in their job, grow for their career and follow their passions
The IFL is a tangible symbol of BMO's commitment to our employees' learning and development, and in 2018, we invested approximately $78 million to deliver learning across the company (an average of $1726 and 23.7 hours per employee).
